The 14 schools that are part of the State System are as follows:

October 12, 2007 -- All but two members of Board of Governors (Representative Matt Baker and Representative Mike Hanna) vote to extend domestic partner benefits to the same-sex partner of homosexual faculty members.  News Release

July 5, 2007 -- Proposed  PA System of Higher Education Contract to include domestic partner benefits for same-sex partners. Governor Rendell, this is not a 'win-win contract for everyone.'      News Release

March 15, 2007 -- California University of Pennsylvania President says a major problem is PASSHE schools cannot offer domestic partner benefits to same-sex couples.  Current contract expires on June 30, 2007.  -- News Release

April 8, 2004 -- By a vote of 11-1 the Board of Governors for the State System of Higher Education approve new contract which contains 'domestic partner' language in it.  At this time it would be limited to sick leave and family leave.  Action Alert
